Climate
Greater Sudbury is situated north of the Great Lakes. Its location generates hot summers for the beach, crisp fall days for apple picking and cold winters with enough snow for sports. Unlike the Great Lakes region, the city is not prone to heavy bands of lake effect snow and extreme humidity.
